Considering the price, many people will wonder if getting this Advent Amico tablet might just end up to be a waste of your money. It's not like a manufacturer will give us a cheap device that has top of the line features, right? While it's true that the specs and features of the Advent Amico tab are not exactly things that you rave about but we think that they serve their purpose.
Even though the spec sheet left us wanting, we admit that there were a few things we liked about the Advent Amico tablet. For one, the size was just right. It was a bit heavy but that was a plus. We don't like a device that feels too light and insubstantial; these can easily be translated to cheap quality. Of course, we were also happy with the screen size and overall dimensions. The 7 inch Advent Amico tab was surely easy to stash inside our bags and bring around just about anywhere.
The fact that the Advent Amico tablet also has WiFi connectivity bode well for us as well. Because really, what's the point of having a tablet computer if it doesn't have fast internet connectivity, right? There were times when we longed for 3G connectivity but that was easily remedied with a mobile WiFi device. We also had to remind ourselves that it's only a budget tablet and it's okay that it doesn't have 3G.
So do we think that getting the Advent Amico tab will do you good? Here's our final two-cent: if you want a cheap device that will introduce you to the wonderful world of tablet computers, this could be it. You have to keep in mind, though, that if you do realise that you want to own a top of the line tablet, the device that you will end up getting will be much, much better than the Amico.

Advent Amico Size 8.5: At 7 inches we feel it is great for slipping into your pocket or bag but for everyday use a slighly bigger screen is required.

As the Advent Amico tablet has built in Wifi, accessing the web is easy. There is no 3g connectivity so for faster downloads we feel you require a mobile wifi router.
